To me the three hitchhiker ghosts are the best part of the Haunted Mansion ride. I love how they show up in the mirror at the end of it. I really wanted to incorporate them into my first painting from the ride. The frame was a challenging one to sculpt and reproduce like the sign at the front of the ride but it was worth the work.
The original paintings incorporated mixed media techniques, including sculpting, painting, and Swarovski crystals. Many collectors requested that I create a reproduction similar to the original. After a bit of trial and error, we were able to make a beautiful, sculpted 3D frame that goes perfect with the high-quality canvas print.
Each frame is made from scratch in our studio from pouring the mold, painting right to hand laying each individual Swarovski crystal. Making each one unique.
